When I discovered that I’m a Highly Sensitive Person as well as an Enneagram 4, I learned that people with these traits have a hard time letting go of negative or pessimistic thoughts. This was something I could identify within myself but only after a lot of self-reflection. It’s hard to feel like you’re negative when you’re personality borders that of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
I truly believe positive affirmations for perfectionists are vital in drowning out the negative self-talk.
